Pitching & Catching Clinics – Winter 2025

Give your child a head start for the 2025–26 Summer Season with our focused Pitching and Catching Programs, designed specifically for players moving into liveball (up to and including 14U).

Program dates

Pitching Program
4 weeks – Mondays from 21 July to 11 August 2025

Catching Program
4 weeks – Mondays from 18 August to 8 September 2025
Must have own catchers gear (see if you can borrow from your club if you need to)

Session times

Each session runs for 1 hour and 15 minutes, with two sessions offered each night:

• 5:45 PM – for younger players

• 6:45 PM – for older players

Venue

Col Sutton Reserve, Winston Hills

Who can participate?

These clinics are open only to players registered with Hills Junior Baseball Association who will be entering liveball in the upcoming 2025–26 Summer Season (up to and including the 14U age group).

As the catching program follows the pitching sessions, players can register for both pitching and catching programs.

Cost

$150 per participant per program
Includes t-shirt for new players

Current Programs

Winter 2025

• 9-10 year olds - for player who will be eligible to play 9U and 10U in the year following the course.
• 11-12 year olds - for player who will be eligible to play 11U and 12U in the year following the course. 
  
  

Program Outline

The program offered by the JYJBA is an age specific skill development and application program that also assists players with the skills necessary for the progression into future age groups.  The program aims to address all aspects of the following areas:

• Infield
• Outfield
• Throwing / Pitching
• Catching
• Hitting
• Base running
